LEO: Then we say thanks that I sanctified myself, this is impossible, because
no one will glory in His presence. He is
the One who saves, by faith, and He prepared works beforehand in Yahshua, so
that we would walk in them. Beloved, in
Him we are complete. In Yahshua we are
complete. We don’t need self-initiative;
self-initiative is satanic.
Self-initiative was awakened within man when Adam and Eve ate of the
devil. Because when they ate of the tree
of knowledge, what they really ate was Satan.
If they would have eaten the tree of Life they would have eaten Yahshua,
and with Him all the works prepared beforehand, so that the redeemed would
produce absolutely nothing by their own initiative. Let us turn to 1 Corinthians 1:29-31,
“so that no one might boast in His presence. And
because of Him you are in the Messiah Yahshua, who became to us wisdom
from Elohim, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so
that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
He is who saves, and He is also the One who prepared works beforehand
so that we might walk in them. It is not
possible that we try to overcome Satan and the demons, as if the Lord had not
overcome them already on the cross.
These spiritual fights don’t come from the Lord; Satan is the one who
promotes these types of battles. How is
it that we continue to fight like this with a defeated enemy. Read Colossians
2:14-15.
“canceling the written ordinance that stood against us with its legal
demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the
principalities and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing
over them in in the cross.”
The spiritual warfare that false brothers promote is satanic. How can we continue fighting against someone
that the Lord overcame. It is like the
Israelites, wanting to overcome the giants, when the Lord had overcame then
from before the foundation of the world.
Because of this mistakenness, they had to die in the desert. There are many of our brothers that talk
about these spiritual warfares; they are dying in the desert. The letter to the Hebrews 2:14:
“Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself
likewise partook of the same things, that through death he
might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.”
The devil is already destroyed.
The devil is already destroyed and overcome. To promote spiritual warfare is to go
against, to go completely against the work that He completed beforehand. The only thing that needs to be found in our
heart is thankfulness, for our great Salvation and for the works that He
prepared beforehand. I beg to the Lord
that He give to us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge, not of
the bible, but of the Person of the Lord Yahshua, through Whom all of the work
has been finished. When He was on the
cross, who of His declarations was, “It is finished.” Having overcome Satan, having overcome the
demons, having overcome the authority of Satan, having overcome sins and
sicknesses, He declared, “It is finished.”
In other words, the works are already finished. Why do we beg for the
Red Sea to open if it is already opened?
Why do we beg the Lord to overcome a devil that is already defeated? Why do we ask Him to sanctify us if we
already have Sanctification. Brothers,
let us turn our heart to the Lord.
Brothers, let us beg that the Ruah Ha Kodesh would truly govern us. Leave behind walking around in our
imaginations. Leave behind walking in
our good doctrines. Let us leave behind
walking around in our human considerations, and turn our hearts to Elohim,
being truly converted to the Lord. We need a genuine conversion. This moment is the moment to experience the
part of the book of Acts, when it talks of a genuine repentance. We need the Lord. Repent and convert, so that your sins may be
washed away. And what we need to repent
from is thinking that we can overcome Satan, from thinking that we can sanctify
ourselves by much fasting, prayer, and biblical lessons. This offends the Lord. The work is consummated. It is consummated. It is not by works, but it is by works. It is not by works, but yes, it is by
works. It is not by self-initiated
works, but it is by works, those that He prepared beforehand, so that we would
walk in them. The works of the
Israelites, Yahweh completed them from before the foundation of the world. And the works of the overcomers were
consummated in Yahshua. It is
consummated.
LD: I thank the Lord for the things that He is doing, for the sharing
of brother LEO. I don’t want to add
anything concerning the works, I also believe that He completed the works
beforehand; He completed them before the foundation of the world. I wanted to say something regarding the
demons, that He overcome this in the cross of Calvary, triumphing over them
opening. There is a question and a
consideration that I put on the table for the brothers. If He finished everything, and overcome the
devil, why are we not seeing that worked out.
I want to say three things. The
first thing, is that He overcame them through death. If we consider ourselves dead, we overcome
the devil. But if we still consider
ourselves alive, the devil has power over our flesh. The still has power over our soul. He doesn’t have power over the spirit. What did the apostle Paul say in Romans
5-8? We need to understand that the
apostle Paul established and lived in his flesh what is called the crisis, the
transition from the old humanity to the new humanity. If we don’t understand this process, even
though the Lord has overcome everything, we cannot have the inheritance. If we see in the book of Romans what the Lord
shows us. In chapter 6 it shows what we
are, the fundamentals. There we see that
we have an identification with Christ, identification with Yahshua the
Messiah. And what is the Messiah,
crushed to pieces, brokenness. In verse
1-4 in chapter 6:
“What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may
abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do
you not know that all of us who have been baptized into the Messiah Yahshua
were baptized into his death?
Nobody wants to be baptized into His death. Paul says, “ I fill up
the want of sufferings of The Messiah in my flesh.” So, He
did everything, but our part, because this corresponds to each one. Paul said in Romans 12 “living
sacrifices.” Who wants to be a living
sacrifice? This is not in our flesh, to
be a living sacrifice.
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death,”
So, if we have believed that everything has been consummated it says
that we have been buried. Who has seen
the dead speak? Who has seen the dead
react if you pinch them?
“in order that, just as Yahshua was raised from the dead
by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
Here it says that in order that Yahshua the Messiah who was raised from
the dead. Our faith is based on the
resurrection of a dead person. If we
don’t consider ourselves dead how are we going to enjoy the newness of
life. We are saying that all things have
been accomplished.
BE: Doesn’t say that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities and power in the heavenly realms?”
LD: Yes, and I am going to that point.
Paul in the book of Ephesians 6:12 it talks of the spiritual warfare,
and in chapter 4 it says that “He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, and
other evangelists, etc. UNTIL, UNTIL the unity of the Spirit.” We have one Spirit, one Faith, one Lord, one
God. What are we talking about? Are we talking about the Father, Son, and the
Spirit? Are we talking about the three
are one? I pray that they may be one as
You and I are one, Father. So when we
are dealing with “It is finished,” if the root is holy all the rest is
holy. If He is the first-born of many
brethren, where is the Lord taking us?
To be co-partakers of what?Of the glory, but before the glory to be
co-partakers of His death, before being co-partakers of His resurrection, of
the newness of life. And this life is
not the human life, the life that we received from Adam, it is the life that Yahshua,
came and became man and was crushed. All
of His human nature was crushed.
LEO: What my brother here has shared is very glorious. How does this work? It says in Hebrews 4, “Therefore, while the
promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should
seem to have failed to reach it.”
It is true that the scripture says that our warfare is not against
flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. Even though it is a fight, it is not a fight
to overcome. It is a fight to not be
taken out of the realm of Life. Our
fight is not to overcome something, that would be contrary to what the
scripture says, and against the inner testimony that we have. If we have died together with Yahshua, if we
have been buried together with Him in His death, our fight is not to overcome,
but to not to give opportunity to the enemy to distract us or take us out of
the realm of life. If you all agree when
we see the fight of the Israelites in the old testament when they were
persecuted by the Midianites and they entered into a territory of lentils. The fight of the Israelites was to not leave
their atmosphere; if they would leave that atmosphere, Satan would exercise
power over them, like my brother has shared truly. So our fight is not to overcome them, like
Paul says, “don’t give a foothold to the devil.” How do we give place to the devil? By not abiding in the thoughts of Yahshua,
and passing the time in our own thoughts, in that place Satan has all authority
to overcome us. So our fight is not to
overcome, but to abide in the atmosphere that the Lord has translated us into
(Col. 1:13). What this brother has
shared, if we don’t abide there, we are overcome.
BE: We have the battle of Satan in our flesh. We are chosen and elected by the Lord in just
one act we come to possession of the other side. And that moment the fight begins.
LEO: It is equal to what happened with Israel. In Israel, only two men, Joshua and Caleb,
only those two survived in the atmosphere of the consummated works. The rest, not only the spies, but the other
two million Israelites maintained themselves in their own thoughts. Those died, while Joshua and Caleb who did
not allow Satan to take them out of that atmosphere, and they were
overcomers. So there fight was not
against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers that wanted to
convince them to leave the atmosphere.
So what our brother shared with us is key. Our atmosphere is death of Yahshua. However, Satan fights to take us out of that
atmosphere. And this fight is not to overcome them, but that not even for one
moment would we allow Satan bewitch us.
LD: Brother Leo said, “brothers the testimony is given by the Spirit,
not by us. Yahshua said, “the Father
gives testimony regarding me.” Yahshua
didn’t say, “I am in the spirit.” In
other words, it is not in us to say that we are in the Spirit. Because the Spirit is the one who gives the
testimony. The Father gives testimony of
the Son, and the Son testifies of the Father, and the Spirit gives testimony to
the Son. So we cannot attribute this to
ourselves. Paul said, “If you think you
stand, take head lest you fall.” I don’t
believe I am firm. No one is firm. The only One that is firm is the Son. And He has been given all power of heaven and
on earth and under the earth. But
brothers, if we are dealing with what is called the consummated work of Yahshua,
and we say all has been consummated, so what is the problem. The problem is that we don’t want to go to
the death of Yahshua and be co-partakers of the death of Yahshua. Because before we die we need to suffer. I have not seen one, who dying without
suffer. Paul said, I fill up that which
is lacking of the suffering of Christ.
Why did Paul say this if Christ did everything. Paul did this, and the Spirit allowed that it
be written down, because there is a part that we have to do. If we don’t want to, that a different matter.But
He works in us the “to will” and the “to do.”
But before we say that we resist the devil, there is a clear word that
has not been spoken: “Submit to God.”
The problem is that we don’t submit, and from there it says, “resist the
devil.” If we submit to God, all the
promises are “yes, and amen.” But like
brother Leo said that the devil fights that we would leave the atmosphere of
the death of Yahshua.
BE: Only the flesh resists it.
LD: It is not only the flesh that resists it. This has happened in this fellowship this
afternoon. We don’t want Him to govern
or that He would completely be LORD.
Because one this is to say, “God,” and to recognize that He is God. But it is another thing to say “Lord.” God is for all, but Lord is for your
life. He is Elohim; He is the creator of
all things. So, Romans 6:5 applies here:
I cannot be complete without brother Leo. We cannot be complete because have
something. But the only one who is going
to make us understand this is the Spirit.
“For if we have grown
together with him in the likeness
of His death, we shall certainly be united with him in the likeness of His
resurrection.”
In the likeness of His death, because we cannot liken our death with
His, but we have the likeness of His death.
It says that we were created in His image and likeness. He is the great I AM, the One who is. What is the likeness of His
resurrection? The first fruits that God
wants. Because we know that all have been overcome, but one part is not
overcome. We cannot change that, it is
what the scripture says. He is seeking
the first fruits. How is that going to
happen? It will happen if we allow
Him. But before allow Him we need to
need to KNOW…and that is where verse 6 comes in.
“We know that our old self[a] was crucified with him in order
that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no
longer be enslaved to sin.”
