First Prayer

BELIEVER 6:  (Sharing from Full of Grace and Truth v. 2 by Watchman Nee) “The heart’s desire of God toward humanity is a desire of love.  Those who seek to be saved by doing good are cursed.”

BELIEVER 4in response to what BELIEVER 6 shared:  I want to ask something.  First let us go to Galatians 3:10.  The question is, “Why are those who seek to be saved by doing good cursed?”  In Galatians 3:9 says, “So that they who are of the faith are blessed with believing Abraham, for as many as are the works of the law are under the curse.” It says, “cursed is everyone who does not abide in all the whole law.” According to the Mosaic law, there are around 613 commandments.  If you see the law right now(in the US), there are more; there are too many and are more day by day.  Here it says that if we fall at one point of the law, we are guilty of breaking the whole law.  By law, no one can be justified.  “The Law is not by faith, but the person who does them shall live by them.”  We as humans beings (by nature) do not want to live by faith, but by the law.  In the law we have a certain kind of security, which is that we can govern (have control) over our own life to a certain extent.  The law is for everyone who will not submit to the promise of the Son of God.  Christ is the end of the law to everyone who believes.  It is a serious thing to live only in dependence on Jesus.  With Brother AN, we had the opportunity to watch a video interviewing a pastor from Jerusalem.  He said, “Here the Jewish people put many laws(Sometimes against the New Covenant Faith); if we get to a point in which the law contradicts what God wants, we are going to keep on with our lives as if the law didn’t exist.”  There is a price to pay if we live by faith.  I will give you another example.  The pastor said, “I have to give an account over what the Lord says, not the law.  If this costs death, that is the price.  If I need to go to jail, that is the price I need to pay.”  This is similar to what I live.  You have to decide, “What do you believe in?”  In Acts, the apostles said that it is better to obey God rather than men.  Some have had to pay a price for this, all the disciples with the exception of John were martyrs.  Why?   Because you are going against the established system of the law.  We will go again to the scripture.  If you look at the old testament, what happened with Moses? Moses is a prototype.  If we see the what has happened today, the New Testament, the words of Jesus, and the epistles have all become law.  When did this happen?  It happened when the church became official.  It was illegal to practice Christianity (in the early days).  It was illegal for Moses and Jesus to be born.  We need to see that what God demands is completely different than what your natural mind can understand.  If you see the life of Abraham, he was called at the time when “his body was as good as dead”, and when the womb of Sarah was dead.  The Lord doesn’t need more than our shell.  Galatians says, “ is not of faith, but the person who does these things will live by them.”  Living under the law allows you to keep your soul life.

BELIEVER 1: (is sharing from 365 kid’s confession).  “Bless the Lord all my soul, and forget not His benefits.”

BELIEVER 4: (responding to the sharing of BELIEVER 1) if you review what we are reviewing, you are going to say that we cannot do this (bless the Lord all my soul)  Before, BELIEVER 1, you had joy, but right now you are sleepy.

BELIEVER 1: (continues)  “I could never forget all you have done for me.”

BELIEVER 4: (responding)  you can say, “Lord, help me and deliver me from the devil.  “You heal me whenever I get sick.”  You need this promise of healing regarding something for your body.  (Reading from Kid’s Confessions) “You keep me from harm, and keep me in Your loving-kindness.  Thank You Lord, I will rejoice in You forever.”  The Lord help you BELIEVER 1.

BELIEVER 6: (continues from WN) “For they have trusted in their feelings rather in what God has done.”

BELIEVER 4: (Responds)  This is all of us.  There sometimes arrives a moment where we feel something (in the realm of the soul, not spirit) and that affects us (negatively).  Is this true brothers?

ALL: YES!!!

BELIEVER 6: (continues from WN)  “If you feel save you are saved, and if you don’t you will perish.  We say this, but the bible does not say this.”

BELIEVER 4:  What happens with us?  If we don’t feel comfortable in the fellowship, our face changed and we feel that we are dying.  Our only excuse is, “I’m not ready brothers.”  We forget about the Passover Lamb (eating for our strength), and applying the blood.

BELIEVER 6:  How do we apply the blood?

BELIEVER 4:  Brother T. Austin-Sparks (from Words of Wisdom and Revelation) says, “How much of the Lord’s help do we need to continue!”  “If you are in any way engaged in ministry, or the work of the Lord, no matter how much you study, how much you read up the subject matter, however diligent you are in your research….(nothing without resurrection).”  This is what the human beings are scholastic.  That’s why people  study in the universities, so that they can have a big head.  The problem is that our heart need to be in line with our head.  If our heart is a heart of flesh, He will write His statutes in us.  How do we get there?  (Continuing with TAS) According to what God is, “it will count for nothing if there is not behind it an experience which makes resurrection.”  In everything that we put on the altar, we want these things back in resurrection.  In resurrection, only what is of Christ is there.  What you are sharing BELIEVER 6, It says that the angel of death passes over when it sees the blood.  We are going to explain some things on the Blood.  In the Old Testament, the blood had to be put on the doorpost.  You have the blood on one side, but you have the roasted lamb with the bitter herbs on the other.  We need to apply the blood over everything in our lives.

BELIEVER 4: (Continues with some things concerning BELIEVER 5) If BELIEVER 5 doesn’t spend time with God personally, her fellowship with God is only corporate.  If she does not spend time with God, she doesn’t have fellowship with the brothers either.  Concerning the things of the Morning Revival, and the things until the July 1st, you should have finished study.  It is not going to be easy for you if you do not allow yourself to get help.  I recommended that you need to spend 20-30 minutes per day with the Lord, and then studying.  The fellowship with the Lord is like a cross, vertical (with God) and horizontal (with the brothers and sisters).

BELIEVER 6: (Continues from WN) “Only when the Christian has learned to be satisfied with their portion in Christ will they be able to overcome the things the world offers.”

BELIEVER 4:  (Responds) When BELIEVER 2 has learned to be satisfied with their portion in Christ will they be able to overcome the things the world offers.

BELIEVER 2:  I don’t enjoy too much time seeking the Lord because I get bored.  For this reason, I don’t want to seek too much.  The things the Lord offers us are not seen, but are intimate (Isa. 45:3).

BELIEVER 6:  “As long as we are satisfied with the things that the world offers, we are not satisfied with Christ.  Faith is not an expectation of a future work, but accepts as a fact what God has already accomplished.”

BELIEVER 4:  I want to clarify something concerning the last thing you shared.  The First is that it is a battle to keep the position (in our hearts) the Lord Jesus has already obtained for us.  Satan moves us out of the reality of being in Christ.  This is a temporal reality (what Satan traps us in)  that you see with your natural eyes.  But with the spiritual eyes, the only reality is Christ.  What it says, we all fall in from this place.  (BELIEVER 6 asks:  because God asks us things that are impossible for man to work out?)  The condition for faith to work is that we are dead with Christ.  The dead do not have a future.  If someone is sleeping like BELIEVER 5, you have a future.  How are you going to obtain something that God declares?  It can only be done by the Spirit.  The natural life cannot produce faith.  Hebrews 11 says that “faith is the substantiation of things hoped for, the conviction of what is not seen.”  Being full of grace and truth only comes from experience.  What does the function of the blood produce.  It redeems us from the penalty of sin.  We are sinners, because we have a nature of sin.  We are not sinners because we sin, be we sin because we are sinners.  What eliminates the nature of sin?  The Cross (Jn. 19:30).

BELIEVER 5:  (Reading from John 10) “I am the good shepherd.  (Amen!)  The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”  I am a wandering sheep, but I am still sheep.  “The Father knows me and I know the Father, I have other sheep that are not of this fold.  My sheep here my voice, then there will be one flock and one shepherd.  You do not believe because you are not My sheep.  They know My voice and the follow me.”

BELIEVER 2:  Living responsibly is necessary for living in the spirit.  We must keep the oneness of the Spirit.  We sometimes feel that we don’t need others.  We need others.  If you try to keep in this way (the Lord’ s way), there will be obstacles that you can’t go through alone.  The growth of the Body is by this oneness. And only if you have faith (live by the Faith), in the uniting bond of peace can we all be in one spirit, and have one feeling, and one desire.  I don’t like being in a Body, because it has too many demands of oneness, and I want to be an individual.  I am still foolish and believe that I can do things on my own, but the Lord needs to show me.  Now, I take flight.

BELIEVER 3: (Sharing from Deep wells of Revelation by Brother T. Austin-Sparks) It is possible to have many dealings with God, and God doing many things for us, but we still remain in the realm of the soul.  It is possible for this to happen for a lifetime and we never get out of that realm.  This is very hard, may the Lord help us and give us a proper heart (Ps. 51).  It is God’s intention that our soul be divided from our spirit; this is what the Word of God is for (Heb. 4:12).  To enter into the Promised Land, we have to cross the Jordan, which is to count the Death of the Lord as our death (Gal. 2:20).  Help us Lord Jesus.

BELIEVER 4:  I am going to share something that the Lord is working.  The Lord is working a fundamental point with you (BELIEVER 6).  All things are for the edification of each other in love.  I want you to go to Romans 9:8; “That is, those who are the children of the flesh are not the children of God, but the children of the promise are reckoned the seed.”  There are 3 verses that are important in what God is speaking concerning this.  This morning we spoke of 3 parts (of this truth).  The first is your natural life, God sometimes honors this part.  The next part is what Christ has done as the Son of God. What Christ has done (and is doing), being in His person 100% God and 100% man, is His work.  On the one side is His finished work, and the other is Christ being formed in you.  Romans 8:29 says, “Because whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He should be the Firstborn among many brothers.”  How do we go to this mingling?  “It is not the descendants of Abraham who are the heir, but only in Isaac.  Why only Isaac?  What happed with Ishmael? Isaac is the promise of God; He did not come by human strength or ability.  Go gives all tings new, but our wineskin is old.  So the Lord gives us a new wineskin.  Verse 8:3, “For the law being impossible in that it was weak through the flesh…there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus”  When we arrive to the new wine and wineskin, how does this new man grow?  In Exodus 16, Jehovah said to Moses, “I will make the bread rain for one day, to test if the people will walk in May way or not.

BELIEVER 4:  We need you Lord, We need you Lord,  We need a lot of You.
